Family Week Next Week

Hello!

This past week, students completed their unit on Information Writing. They wrapped up the piece they were using for practicing the new skills and strategies we explored in class and wrote their third benchmark. We also finished exploring the simple machines we focus on in grade 4 (levers and gears). We had a non-typical week in math, what with Valentine's Day on Monday and our class Cabane a Sucre (Sugar Shack) on Wednesday, and students were instead asked to reflect back on their learning so far in Math (see the questions below).

Next week is Family Week, so there will be no school for students. Look for a new blog post next weekend looking ahead to the first week back!
