I'm Matt Vanden Dungen. I'm a grade 4 teacher at Dr. Robert Plaxton School. I began my career as a teacher at Agnes Davidson School, teaching grade 4 and 5. I grew up in Vauxhall, AB, in a large family, and I received my teaching degree at the University of Lethbridge in 2014. I am passionate about reading and writing, and I hope to instill that love in my students. I live in Lethbridge with my wife, Jillian, and our two kids: Scotlynn and Isaac.
When I'm not teaching, I like being creative. I love to play the guitar, draw, and write stories. I am a giant nerd, and I love to read thick fantasy novels, play adventure video games (especially Legend of Zelda), and get super nerdy with more social games like Magic: the Gathering and, more recently, Dungeons & Dragons.
