My apologies for not posting the last two weeks - I was out sick (COVID came through my house). This past week, students have continued to add reflection posts on MyBlueprint (log in with the link in your email or by having your child log in with their district Microsoft login). We have wrapped up our Film study (any incomplete projects are now homework, so please ask your child if they have a project to finish up). We've begun one of my favorite projects, Camp NaNoWriMo: the students will be working on writing the same story all month - spending 5+ hours of class time on the same story! I always enjoy seeing the joy they take in crafting these stories, and reading the end products.
This upcoming Monday our class will be joining Mr. Tyslau in the makerspace for our class's return to the Mars Month makerspace activities to take on Mission #3!

We've been working on these for a couple weeks. If you haven't yet, go listen to your child read on MyBlueprint, and read through my comments about the benchmarking experience. If your child does not yet have a post for this, one will be up over the course of this upcoming week.
Math
We are working on the division-wide Minecraft Challenge, and will spend time this week planning out the school floorplans
Social Studies
Continue our unit focusing on the arrival of European explorers and missionaries in this land we know as Alberta
